Shopping in Genoa, the rossoblu side, for Sassuolo? The routes traced daily by the radio market yesterday led there, in the direction of experienced players in various capacities linked to the Grifone and who however do not seem to be included in Gilardino’s plans. And if one technically no longer has anything to do with Genoa because his card is no longer the property of the Ligurian club, the red and blue one is the last shirt he wore in Italy, the other falls under the Lanterna from a loan but, according to what he says, he won’t even have the opportunity to unpack his suitcase to leave as soon as possible.

The first is Davide Biraschi, a defender born in 1994 whose last ‘Italian’ match dates back to the first day of the season, last August 19th: a match and a goal with Genoa before returning to Karagümrük, in Turkey, where Biraschi had already played the previous two seasons and with which he ‘closed’, however, at the end of May, with the end of the Super Lig. He returns to Italy as a free agent, Empoli also likes him and Biraschi is not the only ‘former Genoa’ in Sassuolo’s sights. Who also looks with some attention, according to what is said, to Mattia Aramu, a 29-year-old playmaker who returns to the rossoblu from his loan in Bari (19 matches with the Apulians) but Genoa resumes, perhaps with the right/obligation of redemption, a formula that it could facilitate the negotiation. A long-time offensive midfielder, who knows the cadet championship well having won it first with Venezia then with Genoa himself and for having played 205 of his 280 professional appearances there, Aramu is credited with a market value which stands at around 1.5 million euros. The contract that binds him to Genoa expires in 2025. The newly promoted Mantova and Salernitana are also on him: fierce competition, but not enough to make him uncontestable.
