Starting from today to 4 August, the theater festival aimed at the new generations. The tenth edition of the Lucca Theater Festival – “What are the clouds?”, created by La Cattiva Compagnia with the contribution of the Municipality of Lucca and the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation and with the patronage of the Province of Lucca, Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo.
The tenth edition of the Lorenzo Baglioni Festival, one of the most loved Florentine comic singer-songwriters on the web, opens at 9.30pm in the courtyard of the Agorà cultural center (entrance from via delle Trombe). Singer, author, presenter and actor, former mathematics teacher, with the format of educational songs he arrived on the Sanremo stage in 2018 with the song “Il Congiuntivo”. He has hosted TV programs such as “L’Isola degli Eroi” (BoingTv), “Bella, Prof!” (SkyUno), “Un Palco Per Due” (Rai2), “So, come on!” (Rai2, RaiPlay). The event is in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca, the “Agorà” Civic Library. It returns for the fourth year in a summer version, creating a rich calendar of shows for families, and workshops for children and teenagers, all with free entry or participation. The festival, which also pays homage to the memory of Giovanni Fedeli, its first artistic director, who died prematurely at the age of 48, consolidates its cultural vocation and confirms itself as a leader throughout the provincial territory in offering entertainment aimed at young people and families, with 28 events and shows, all high level, in two months, in 10 different locations.
The theme of this 2024: Do, Re, Mi… Fa Teatro! brings us a tenth edition dedicated to music, which sees many of the shows accompanied by a live soundtrack. The next appointment is Monday 1 July, from 5pm to 6.45pm with the Creative Laboratory, Drip Run Roll, at the Municipal Library of Porcari, in collaboration with the Municipality of Porcari and the Municipal Library. The Festival is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca (Agorà Civic Library), the Municipality of Porcari (Municipal Library – Auditorium Vincenzo Da Massa Carrara), the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, the Municipality of Pieve Fosciana, the Municipality of Bagni di Lucca (Benabbio Philharmonic ), Municipality of Capannori, FITA – Provincial Committee of Lucca, Scuolina Raggi di Sole, Real Collegio, Animando – Music Promotion Center; Maria Pacini Fazzi Editore, Artebambini, BadaBimbi.
