In Ravenna a round table on “After the elections, towards European governance”

Following the European elections, on 25 June from 5.30 pm in the Spadolini room of the Casa Oriani Foundation in Ravenna, experts and journalists will discuss in a round table. The analysis and discussion on how the European elections went and what scenarios are opening up for the governance of the European Union will be entrusted to an exceptional panel: correspondents to Brussels from important newspapers, scholars and institutions.

After the institutional greetings from the Councilor for Culture Fabio Sbaraglia, the following will speak: Daniele Pasquinucci – University of Siena, Michele Marchi – University of Bologna, Beda Romano, correspondent of Il Sole 24 Ore (remotely), Angela Mauro, correspondent of the Huffington Post (remotely), David Carretta of Il Foglio and Radio Radicale (remotely). The moderation will be by Giulia Di Filippo and Alberto Ricci, young volunteers from the Europe Direct Center of Romagna.

The initiative, open to citizens, is organized by the Europe Direct Romagna Center of the Municipality of Ravenna in collaboration with UniBo – cultural heritage department of the Ravenna campus and the Casa Oriani Foundation and is part of the OpeRa action, the post-election observatory European meetings that the Europe Direct Center is conducting in Ravenna together with volunteers interested in understanding better the present and future of the European Union.
