The resolution establishing the Tari tariff relating to 2024 without any increase compared to 2023.

“The tariffs derive from the application of the Financial Economic Plan that the ATO draws up after having received from the manager the sum of the economic and financial plans of the various companies belonging to the group (Sol) – explains the mayor Giorgio Del Ghingaro –. The PEF draft originally proposed immediately appeared disproportionate to us because it envisaged a 10% increase while for other Municipalities a ‘discount’ had been applied, in some cases really significant. We arrived at this new plan in line with 2023 – adds the mayor – “after some discussions with ATO and a careful study of the data. We did a new analysis of the costs, some of which had been overestimated. We then included in the PEF the amounts relating to the fight against tax evasion but the most important element is that of the strong development given to door-to-door, waste separation and the reduction of waste”.

“The result is this resolution which establishes a PEF for 2024 exactly equal in amount to that of 2023. No increase therefore – underlines the mayor – and no amount spread over future years as was feared by those who are probably not too expert in these matters because the PEF only provides for the years 2024 and 2025 and the economic framework identified allows the company to remain in balance”.

“The truth is, as often happens, the simplest: this result, unique in Versilia but I must say rare also in the rest of the Region, is the result of a serious and structured commitment – concludes the mayor Giorgio Del Ghingaro -. I thank the offices who worked well, and the ATO who was assiduous and present in the meetings and without further complications we brought the tariffs back to where they should be”.
