STOVE. Deep condolences to Fornelli and not only for the premature death of Riccardo Petrarca. He was 50 years old. For this reason the mayor of the town Giovanni Tedeschi has called a day of citizen mourning for tomorrow 22 June.
“With deep and immense regret, the mayor and the municipal administration join in the pain of the loss of dear Riccardo Petrarca, prior of the Confraternity of San Domenico and president of the Fornelli in viaggio association – we read in the message – To the family, Our most sincere embrace and our most concrete closeness goes to his wife, his loved ones and his children. You will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you for everything you have done for our country.”
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 5pm in the church of San Michele Arcangelo.
FUNDRAISER. Riccardo’s death left everyone stunned. The friends decided to start a fundraiser “to honor – they explain – the memory of a great worker, an exemplary father and a present husband”.
