MotoGP GP Netherlands pre-qualifying Assen: Bagnaia the best

He is in a bubble, in perfect shape and with remarkable mastery of the situation: Pecco Bagnaia is the best in the Pre-qualifying for the Dutch GP, immediately on the ball with his Ducati. On the Assen track the reigning world champion, who usually starts in a non-explosive but gradual way, gets everyone in line even in the afternoon practices after also finishing the morning session in the lead. With a time of 1’31.340 Pecco precedes the Aprilia of Maverick Viñales, second at 0.065 and very fearsome and the Ducati Gresini of Alex Marquez, third at 0.320.

In the final stages, Aleix Espargaro crashed at the final chicane on the second Aprilia, but was still credited with the fourth fastest time (+0.472) ahead of World Championship leader Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac, +0.489) and Marc Marquez (+0.511). Completing the top 10 of riders who went directly to Q2 were: 7. Brad Binder (KTM, +0.526); 8. Enea Bastianini (Ducati, +0.530), who also crashed; 9. Raul Fernandez (Aprilia Trackhouse) +0.569 and 10. Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Pramac, +0.673).
