Murder in via Fanella in Fano, the neighbor of the Ricci family: “Never heard of them arguing”

Fano (Pesaro and Urbino) 24 June 2024 – “Usually early in the morning I saw them in the garden, him working and her hanging out the clothes. This morning instead the garden was empty and there was a great silence.” Thus Mirko Barduagni, 49 year old neighbor of Luisa Mosconi and Giuseppe and Luca Ricci, who with that house in via Fanella 127 (video) where they were early this morning the two bodies were founddivides a wall.

“I didn’t hear anything, neither tonight nor this morning – Barduagni continues the story -. I left the house at 7.45am to do some laps. My wife left a quarter of an hour after me. Everything was calm. I got home around 8.30, when they found the bodies. When I was there at the crossroads (of via Fanella with via Davide Squarcia, ed) I saw the firefighters and the police in front of my house and I got worried, because my children were alone in the house, one 18 and the other 12 years old. Then I realized it wasn’t like me. When they told me the neighbors had been found dead, I immediately thought of a gas leak. And then I asked why I was worried, since my house was next to theirs.”

Reassured about the safety of the building, Barduagni received no further information. Then he saw the forensic team arrive, the magistrate, the news about the discovery of the bodies followed one another on social media and the media… and then his son Luca was taken to the police station for questioning.

“At first I thought it was an accident, and I still hope it is – concludes the neighbor -. Luca is a quiet, good-natured guy. I’ve never seen him depressed. I’ve never heard them argue. They were quiet people, good people.”
