VENICE – Rude tourists in Venice jump from the water taxi and do parkour on a bridge: 400 euro fine for the taxi driver and daspo for the pseudo-permorfer. Parkour on a bridge in Venice: the taxi driver is fined and the perpetrator, an American national, is identified. Daspo if he were to return to Venice. This morning the driver of the taxi who transferred the pseudo-performer who yesterday jumped from the vehicle onto a bridge and then fell back into the taxi while underway was summoned to the Venice Local Police Headquarters, in Tronchetto.

The sanctions

The driver (a substitute for the license holder) was notified of three sanctions: the first for driving the wrong way in a one-way canal, the second for competing with the pseudo-performer, the third for “dangerous games”. In total, a fine of over 400 euros, in addition to reporting to the water taxi disciplinary commission, which is a public service.

The pseudo-performer has been identified. Of American nationality, he had already left a well-known hotel in the city. For him, the information is issued to the Ministry of the Interior: if he were to go to the Border Police (when leaving our country or upon his next arrival) he will be notified of the expected administrative sanctions (which in the meantime will be delivered to his American domicile), it being understood that if he returned to the city he would be subjected to a very stringent control regime which could lead, as in other similar cases, to the immediate issuing of a Daspo, or immediate removal from the city.
