Novara – From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June the annual PromoteHP Trophy, formerly the Regions Trophy, was held in Correggio (Reggio Emilia), which sees the regional category representatives compete. This year, for the first time, the event also included a tournament entirely dedicated to the women’s movement. Seven teams present divided into two categories F1-2014-2013-2012, F2-2011-2010, for a total of 54 athletes involved. The girls coached by Fabrizio Mastropierro performed a great competition in both categories.
F1 won all four matches against Bassano (3-2 and 3-1) and Scandianese (3-0 and 2-0). The F2s beat Bassano (9-0) and Correggio (3-0), surrendering only to the very strong battleship of HP Hockey Matera (1-5), multiple Italian champions in the women’s sector.
These latest statements come at the end of a competitive season of consolidation and development, which saw the participation of the first entirely female team in the Under13 Category in the Zone 1 Championship (3rd place) and the FISR Territorial Cup (Champions). At the same time, 8 other 2013-2014 girls made their debut in the Under11 category and will make up the 2nd team in the 2024-2025 season.
Hockey Novara 1924 is proud of its pink sector, Pink Stars, a small, determined and courageous wonder in a predominantly male sport. A long-term investment in the women’s sector that is starting to bring the first satisfactions, but we are certain that the best is yet to come.

Great satisfaction also for the call-up of Filippo Brescia and Oleksandr Nykolaychuk in the Under13 selection of the Piedmont/Lombardy zone1.
The boys and girls of Hockey Novara 1924 invite you to Streetgames 2024 on Tuesday (men’s) from 7pm to 9pm and Friday (women’s) from 7pm to 9pm, get to know each other and celebrate the end of the season together.
