Luca Barbarossa’s theatrical tour arrives at San Francesco al Prato in Perugia

Perugia is also among the stops on the new tour Luca Barbarossa who, after having conquered the reading public with “One hundred stories for one hundred songs” (now in its third reprint a month after its publication for La Nave di Teseo) brings his project to the theatre. The appointment is for November 16 to the auditorium San Francesco al Prato.

With the spirit of the storyteller, on tour in the major theaters of Italy, Barbarossa will sing and play live the main songs of his literary work and will tell the background, the curiosities that hide behind each of them, but also the historical context, closely linked with our experience, what we feel and remember through every single song. The history of the song passes through the transformations of our society, the battles for civil rights, the small great revolutions of customs, the sounds of different eras, from the Risorgimento to today. In the book as in the concert lineup the pieces are those that marked the life of the Roman singer-songwriter and ours, from Frank Sinatra to Vasco Rossi, from Lucio Battisti to Bob Dylan, from the Beatles to Paolo Conte, from Franco Battiato to Pino Daniele and the concert will be the sharing of these emotions, these frames, these moments.

ORGANIC – Luca Barbarossa, Roman born in 1961, with the publication of 12 studio albums and the victory at the Sanremo Festival, is among the most loved Italian singer-songwriters. But he is also an author for others (Fiorella Mannoia, Luciano Pavarotti, Gianni Morandi, Tosca, Paola Turci) and an ironic, empathetic and cultured entertainer in the hosting of the 15 seasons of Radio2 Social Club, of the May Day concerts in Taranto and Rome, in the hosting and artistic direction of “Amatrice nel cuore”. In 2021, on the threshold of sixty, he published the autobiographical novel “Don’t miss anything” and in May 2024 the musical journey “One hundred stories for one hundred songs”.
