Bartolini says goodbye to Pisa: Prato welcomes him back
The young man in question is Lorenzo Bartolini, left back born in Pistoia on 3 April 2005. The winger comes from a football career which, in recent years, has seen him split his time between Pisa and Prato. After an experience with the Nerazzurri’s U17 team in the 2021-2022 season, the following season Bartolini was added to the Lanieri’s Juniores, and then made the leap to the first team in the second part of the season. With Prato, he managed to make his debut in Serie D, subsequently collecting 13 appearances in total, four of which as a starter.
The good performances with the Prato team earned him a new move to Pisa, where he showed off with the Primavera last season. His record shows a total of 26 appearances topped by one goal, scored in October in the away match against Crotone (0-3). As a full-back or central defender, Bartolini was one of the cornerstones of the Nerazzurri team, but his future will still be at Prato, which is ready to welcome him back for the next championship.
The Pisa Primavera season
Pisa is coming off a very positive year. Inserted in Group B of the Primavera 2 championship, the Tuscans have ended the season in fourth place in the standings behind Cesena, Benevento and Napoli, after having cherished the possibility of finishing on the podium for most of the year.
