9000 square meters in total compared to the 3000 of the previous headquarters in Villa Verucchio, of which over 7000 intended for the production area, this is the surface area of the new headquarters of Hiteco, a Scm Groupinaugurated in Rimini.
Italian company which, we remember, specializes in the design and production of high-tech components for manufacturers of machine tools for processing wood, plastic, advanced materials, glass, stone and metal; high-tech mechatronic components represented, specifically, by: ATC electrospindles, MTC electrospindles, bi-rotating heads, drilling heads and aggregates.
Also present at the inauguration were the authorities of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with the councilor Vincenzo Colla (economic development and green economy, work, training and international relations), the president of the province and mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad, the Superintendency of Archaeology, Belle Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini and various institutions representing the world of business and higher education.
Founded in Villa Verucchio (Rimini) in 1977 as an internal department, with the aim of supplying components (electrospindles, bi-rotary heads, drilling heads and aggregates) to the SCM group’s machines for processing wood and other materials, Hiteco registered continuous growth over the decades, also favored by a constant increase in exports.
A progressive development which reached approximately 40 million euros in turnover at the end of 2023 and which has made Hiteco one of the largest producers in the world in the sector of high-tech components for numerical control machines dedicated to the processing of a wide range of materials such as wood, plastic, composites, glass, stone and metal.
The new headquarters in Rimini will allow Hiteco to potentially grow its workforce, as well as favoring increased efficiency in production (completely made in Italy) and R&D activity.
The projects specifically concern the development of new digital services, IoT systems and intelligent products equipped with artificial intelligence algorithms, as well as an expansion of the range in the stone, glass and metal processing sectors, also with an Industry 5.0 perspective.

One more reason to give high quality to the solutions created which, in the case of Hiteco, are constantly evolving to meet the most current customer needs”.
Well present on the European and North American markets (where in 2020 the company opened a commercial branch in Atlanta), in recent years Hiteco has further consolidated its penetration in Asia, a market which today records the highest share of exports and which at the end of 2023 it recorded double-digit growth in orders.

Production, it should be noted, is entirely Made in Italy with all the most important parts of the spindle made internally. Not only that: all Hiteco products are assembled in line, therefore allowing total control of all assembly activities to be obtained and, therefore, to guarantee the highest quality to the customer.
