The MotoGP grid continues to take shape for 2025 and it has now been Aprilia Racing who have confirmed the long-awaited signing of Marco Bezzecchi, who will transform the Italian team’s line-up for next year. Massimo Rivola did not hide his happiness with the agreement, considering Bezz as one of the “best talents”.
Bezzecchi will have Jorge Martín as his partner, and this will be a completely new pairing for the Noale factory, as Maverick Viñales will leave to join GASGAS Tech3 and Aleix Espargaró will retire at the end of the season.
The Aprilia Team Principal welcomed the 25 year old rider with a smile on his face, he who sees the number 72 as one of the greatest talents coming from Italy: “Welcome on board one of the best Italian talents, who has demonstrated the its value since its debut in the lower categories and especially last year in MotoGP, with exceptional performances and surprising victories.”
Rivola is thrilled to reunite the Italian brand with an Italian driver, a dream that has long been sought: “We can’t wait to embrace Bez in Noale [sede di Aprilia]; the Italian motorcycle and Italian rider pairing is extremely exciting, but even more so is the rider pairing that will form with Jorge.”
