The events in Barletta for World Refugee Day

The Municipal Welfare, School Services and Other Personal Services Sector announces that from 24 to 27 June 2024, on the occasion of World Refugee Day, socio-educational activities will be organized for children and families, promoted by the SAI service (Reception and Integration System) of the Municipality of Barletta. The SAI Reception and Integration System, envisaged by the Ministry of the Interior – Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration, is made up of the network of local authorities which, for the implementation of integrated reception projects in favor of foreigners entitled to or seeking protection international, access the National Fund for asylum policies and services. At a territorial level, local authorities, with the precious support of third sector entities, guarantee integrated reception interventions which, in addition to ensuring food and accommodation services, also provide complementary information, accompaniment, assistance and orientation measures, through construction of individual socio-economic inclusion paths.

The SAI service of the Municipality of Barletta, managed by the RTI “Il Gabbiano”, “Global care” and “Social Care” organizes the initiatives, reported in the poster attached to this press release, to which all citizens are invited, in order to spread the knowledge of the service and promoting the culture of welcome and integration among the citizens of the area.
