BRINDISI – As soon as possible, after the announcement of the new consortium that has taken over the reins of Brindisi Fc, reactions arrive, including from the world of politics. Forza Italia MP Mauro D’Attis from Brindisi encourages and supports the new leadership. And the mayor of the Adriatic capital, Giuseppe Marchionna, hopes for the entire city to be involved.
Mauro D’Attis welcomes “with favor and great confidence the new corporate structure” of Brindisi Fc. And he adds that “this change is also crucial for the relaunch of sport in Brindisi, a symbol of a rebirth not only in football but in sport in general. It is essential that the same spirit of renewal extends to all disciplines, including basketball and other sport. I am convinced that, under the new management, the Brindisi Football Club will fulfill the best expectations of the fans.”
The blue parliamentarian announces that he will not fail to support the new management, in order to maintain “an open and constructive dialogue with the city, thus strengthening a climate of strong motivation”. After welcoming the new corporate structure, the Forza Italia exponent launches an appeal to the Brindisi football fans: believe in this new project.
Mayor Giuseppe Marchionna also expresses “best wishes for this initiative which aims to relaunch the fortunes” of the team, which will have to face a difficult season starting from Serie D. The mayor offers “from now on my personal and maximum availability of the entire Administration to support, within the limits of what is lawful and permitted, this new corporate adventure which I hope will involve and enthuse the entire city”.
