Someone has their children on their shoulders, but it’s impossible not to dance even if compared to three years ago the bass seems “lower”.
Castle Island on Thursday 27th June was transformed into a large labyrinth disco in the open air for the opening of Rugby Sound 2024 with 5,000 attendees. «We hope to have been a little part of your life journey – said Boosta – it is a huge privilege of which we are extremely proud. This is the reason why we love being on stage and having fun being with you». Boosta then asked who was at their concerts back in 2000 and many raised their hands: «So many latecomers…», the keyboard player labeled them ironically before introducing the piece with one of the most beautiful rifts in history: “Disco Labirinto”.
Subsonica returned to Legnano after the duet with Bluvertigo which had unleashed the audience in 2022. They are back with their new album, “Realtà Aumentata”, a mix between alt rock and electronics with different musical influences and which addresses many current issues: inhumanity, violence, more or less visible wars, environmental issues, second generation girls and boys, the risks and opportunities of globalization and disinformation. On the screen the words “No more bombs on Gaza” and during the concert references were made to the massacres of migrants. The new pieces alternated with many great classics of the Turin band. Also on stage is the rapper Ensi.
