Today the bora is blowing in Trieste, gusts of up to 100 km/h

Today at Trieste blows strong bora with gusts that, since the night, give no respite and reach almost 100 km/h, as part of a disturbance affecting Italy. On the ground, on the Upper Adriatic, Bora currents flow, while at high altitude, on the Friuli Venezia Giulia, a more humid influx from the South/East prevails, especially towards the Alps. Since yesterday evening the bora has become progressively more intense, but a decline is expected starting from tomorrow. Due to weather conditions, the Municipality of Trieste has closed the municipal public gardens for today.

The situation required considerable activity from the Fire Brigade, engaged in around twenty interventions. Furthermore, the North/East wind contributed to completely clearing out the enormous quantity of mucilage that had accumulated in the last few days in the Gulf of Triestenow almost completely cleaned up.
