CASERTA – The Lithuanian Ambassador to Italy, Dalia Kreivienėmade an institutional visit to the headquarters of the Municipality of Caserta, where she was received by the Deputy Mayor, Emiliano Casale. The delegation was also composed of the Commercial Attache of the Lithuanian Embassy in Italy, Laura Šerenienėby the Assistant of the Lithuanian Embassy in Italy, Viktorija Safranaviciuteby the Honorary Consul in Naples of the Republic of Lithuania in Italy, Vincenzo Russo. Deputy Mayor Casale and Ambassador Kreivienė discussed future collaborations between Lithuania and Caserta, especially in terms of cultural exchanges, tourism, and commercial relations, which are largely based on food products. The Deputy Mayor illustrated to the Ambassador the important historical, artistic and cultural heritage that characterizes the city of Caserta and the surrounding area, with particular attention to the Palace, the Monumental Complex of the Belvedere of San Leucio and the extraordinary history of Ferdinand’s Utopian city IV of Bourbon, and on the medieval village of Casertavecchia.

Casale made an appointment with the Ambassador for a new meeting in Caserta, in order to learn more about the area and work on common projects to be carried out in the near future.
