With the completion of the ancillary works, i extraordinary maintenance worksmade by Province of La Spezia, along the SP 19 in Baccano di Arcola. Today the road is completely usable even after the completion of all the works foreseen in the intervention program.
The technical activities of the Province concerned an important valley failuresolved through a intervention along a 32 meter stretch on which a certified road barrier was then installed.
“This is one of the many interventions that the Province is carrying out throughout the territory to ensure the safety of the roads – he explains the President of the Province Pierluigi Peracchini – in this case our technicians worked in an area of a historic village and this required particular precautions, such as installing a new type of barrier which also guarantees protection for pedestrians and which fits into the landscape context”.
The main works involved a wall infrastructure that supports the entire roadway, with a total investment of approximately 103,449.52 euros. This was followed by a second intervention for the ancillary works, namely the definitive assembly of the guard rail and the restoration of part of the road surface.
Specifically, a curb on piles was also created to consolidate and make the road safe. Subsequently, the previous building work was completely demolished and then rebuilt in concrete and covered in stone.
