SAN NICOLA ARCELLA (CS) – “Calabria. History, landscapes, 800 km of coastline from the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea which give it the shape of a peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean, to which marine scenarios are added hilly and mountainous reliefs of poignant beauty, from Pollino to Sila and up to Aspromonte, a wealth of animal and botanical species, an extraordinary biodiversity: an immense tourist potential and, however, still to be exploited. Compare this region to a rough diamond perhaps gives an idea of how much men and institutions, perhaps for too long, have kept this land on the margins of social and economic development”.
