“I want to thank the ASC, led in Calabria by Antonio Eraclini and Michelangelo Marino, who delight adults and children every year. It is an association that is growing, even in this edition it allowed our kids to have fun, to fully learn the values of loyalty, solidarity and sacrifice. In short, everything that sport, this extraordinary and wonderful universal language, can teach us. I would like to give a final thank you to the many football schools in our city and our province, to the children, to the parents who make so many sacrifices during the year, to allow children to grow in this wonderful sport: football. Thank you and good afternoon everyone.” Thus the mayor of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, Giuseppe Falcomatàparticipating today at the Arena dello Stretto, in the award ceremony of the adult and children’s teams, of the ASC tournaments in the various categories.
Falcomatà was, in turn, awarded as a member of the winning team of the 8-a-side football championship with the Real Metropolitan team, which also includes, among others, the municipal councilor Carmelo Romeo, best goalkeeper of the competition. A second award ceremony also took place as a member of the winning team in the Saracinello 5-a-side football ‘Mister League’ category, with the Ludos Vecchia Miniera team, formed by the fathers of the children of the football school.
