«The hygienic conditions are at the limit of acceptance: cockroaches and rooms with dilapidated furnishings, not worthy of hosting human beings. Yet we are talking about a garrison of public health which can host hundreds of citizens every day who go there to be assisted.”
The complaint comes from Dr Salvatore Caiazzacandidate for the Order of Doctors with the Orderly list, and concerns the continuity of care unit of Fuorigrotta in via Davide Winspeare, 67whose conditions, judging also from the images documenting the situation, appear alarming.
«In 2024 doctors cannot work there in such conditions – continues Caiazza in a note -, including the national secretary of a large trade union organization of general practitioners, former president of theOrder of Surgeons and Dentists of the Province of Naples, to which all our closeness and solidarity goes, together with all the other doctors who work there.”

Caiazza hopes, on behalf of the entire Ordinatamente list, that the health leaders and the city institutions will take measures for this serious situation: «It is not tolerable that those responsible for theASL Naples 1 Centre allow something like this.”
