After the first two days canceled due to bad weather, the amateurs’ Giro del Veneto officially kicked off today. AND Sergio Merisfrom the MBHBank Colpack Ballan CSBis the first leader of the race thanks to the success obtained by detachment in the Thiene-Chiampo in which he preceded by 35 seconds a group of twelve units led by Andrea Debiasi of Rime Cicli Drali. Completing the podium is the third position of the Englishman Ben Granger of MG Kvis Colors for Peace, fourth the new tricolor Edward Zamperini.
