Blood bank fridge for the oncology department of the “Cardinal Massaia” in Asti donated by Johnson Electric

ASTI The Oncology department of the Cardinal Massaia hospital in Asti received a donation of a new generation blood bank refrigerator.

The equipment is intended for the care and conservation of particularly important materials: drugs used for onco-haematological clinical trials, samples for oncology tests linked to genetics and galenic preparations for the management of the side effects of anti-tumour treatments.

The donation is the result of the Chinese Johnson Electric Group, with headquarters in Hong Kong and factories in Asti specialized in the production of electric motors for various applications.

«The fridge was purchased thanks to a charity collection that took place among the employees of the Asti headquarters. Collection to which the multinational has generously contributed”, – Johnson Electric said.

Heartfelt thanks were expressed at the top of the Group by the general director of the ASL At Francesco Arena and by the director of the complex Oncology structure Marcello Tucci with his entire team.

Present at the ribbon cutting were the director of the hospital unit Roberta Broda, the director of health professions Katia Moffa and the director of the hospital pharmacy Anna Maria Toffano.
