Castellammare – 50-year-old threatens local police officers: reported

The man was caught and fined while speeding on an electric bike in Villa Comunale.

Counter the use of pedal-assisted bicycles in the Villa Comunale. The agents of the Local Police of Castellammare di Stabia sanctioned five people and reported a 50-year-old who will have to answer for charges of threatening and resisting a public official.

Five people were stopped, all adults, riding pedal-assisted bicycles and all were sanctioned in accordance with the current Highway Code. In particular, during the checks, a 50-year-old man from Stabia was reported for threatening and resisting a public official.

“The checks in the area will continue in the next few days. The safety of citizens is among our priorities and we will not tolerate irresponsible behavior that puts people’s safety at risk” – declared Luigi Vicinanza, mayor of Castellammare di Stabia.
