The first transfer market intrigue comes from Pisa. Nicolas Viola could be the first purchase of the 2024-25 negotiation window, but not without the ‘yellow’. The 34-year-old midfielder was in fact in Pisa yesterday to carry out medical visits at the San Rossore Sport Village, recognized and immortalized by some fans. Visits dedicated more to sporting fitness than to the ongoing negotiations with the Nerazzurri club. A signal however, given that the Sporting Club for days, as anticipated last week in the newspaper, has been trying to snatch him from Cagliari on a free transfer, while they are negotiating the renewal, as it expires in three days, on 30 June 2024. Viola is one of Pippo Inzaghi’s protégés, having already worked with the coach in the past in Benevento. A meeting between the midfielder and the coach would also have taken place in Formentera, where Massimo Coda was also present as a guest at Inzaghi’s wedding, even if the striker ultimately chose Salernitana. Viola, however, receives a salary of 700 thousand euros in Cagliari and was among the protagonists of last season, scoring 5 goals in 28 games. He is the player who, more than many others, would be useful to the Pisan midfield, given that Barberis is now out of action in that role and Veloso might not renew. It is rumored that the Nerazzurri club has proposed a one-year contract with an option to renew for a second year, but is also directly negotiating a two-year contract. The negotiation has not yet taken a definitive direction, but Viola is undoubtedly one of the profiles in which the Nerazzurri club is investing and his presence in Pisa should still be considered a signal towards both clubs.

In the meantime, the announcement of Davide Vaira as new sporting director has been postponed. The next Nerazzurri player will be in Pisa today to sign the two-year contract until 30 June 2026. Then it will be Inzaghi’s turn who, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, will still have a few days before signing his own, again until 2026: ” long times, the contract is not ready”, reports Rosea. On the rest of the market, for now there could be sliding doors at the Nerazzurri’s house. For Nicolò Buso, a 24-year-old striker from Lecco, Pisa has tested the waters to snatch him from his club. Only a contact for the moment, while Avellino has moved more concretely. Reflections underway also because the player, who scored 9 goals in the championship last year, has a contract until 2026. Finally, he continues to hold sway over the Torregrossa intrigue. “In the last few hours, the first contacts between Torregrossa and the Brescia management have also been reported” – writes Bresciaingol, confirming the rumors of recent weeks. The player, under contract for another year with Pisa, was in Brescia on Sunday for Dimitri Bisoli’s wedding and was seen talking to Rolando Maran, also having conversations with his former teammates.
