Marsala Handball won the Coni Sicilia Beach Handball Trophy organized by the Sicily Figh Regional Committee chaired by Sandro Pagaria reserved for the mixed U14 category which took place on Sunday 23 June at the Le Capannine lido in Catania. The companies of TH Mascalucia, New Handball Mascalucia, Mattroina, Halikada, Girgenti participated in the event. The team from Marsala beat TH Mascalucia 2 – 0 in the final. In third place was Halikada who also won 2 – 0 against Mattroina Troina. In the final for fifth and sixth place, New Handball Mascalucia won 2 – 0 over Girgenti. The event effectively opened the Outdoor part of the 2023/2024 season of the federal activity of the SIcilia Figh Committee. In fact, a few days ago the registration phase for the regional Senior Male and Female Beach Handbal championships ended which will see the following teams at the starting line: Senior Male: BEACH TEAM MESSINA, DIGERBATO, HALIKADA, PACELLI, PALL. MARSALA, CONCA D’ORO, OXYGEN, TH MASCALUCIA, ANDI MODA RAGUSA. Women’s Sector: Beach Team Messina, Halikada, Pall. Marsala, Trapani. As regards the last queue of the Indoor activity, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July the final phase of the Province Trophy reserved for the Under 14 male and female provincial teams will be held at the Enna Bassa sports hall.
