TARANTO – Press conference to present the “Taranto Swing Festival WINDOR 5th Special Edition” which will be held at 11.00 tomorrow Monday 24 June, at the Salone degli Specchi of Palazzo di Città in Taranto.
Speakers will be Angelica Lussuoso, Municipal Councilor for Culture, Events and Youth Policies, Enzo di Gregrorio, Regional and Municipal Councilor, Gianluca Caputo, Founder and CEO Windor Infissi Taranto title sponsor of the event, Emilia Di Lello representative of the Mon Rêve Ecogreen Resort, and Nicky Pezzolla Artistic Director of the Event.
For five days, from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th June, Taranto returns to being the European capital of Swing: teachers, dancers, enthusiasts and artists will come from all over the world to the Ionian capital to participate in the “Taranto Swing Festival WINDOR 5th Special Edition”, event which, organized by the “Be Swing” Association from an idea of the artistic director Nicky Pezzolla, has established itself internationally in just five years.
In this fifth edition, numerous innovations are planned, while the formula that has made it so successful is unchanged: theme evenings and swing dance workshops held by some of the most important dance teachers in the world are scheduled at the Mon Rêve Ecogreen Resort, while at Taranto free swing events that will drag citizens into the atmosphere of the golden age of Swing, the one that reigned in the USA between the Thirties and Fifties.
