It had already been unofficially announced. Yesterday the official announcement arrived: Mantua’s opponent in the friendly match scheduled for Thursday 25 July will be Genoa. The confirmation came from the rossoblù club, which organized the match and will host the Acm in Moena. Kick-off at 5pm. In addition to Mantova, Genoa coached by Alberto Gilardino with Gaetano Caridi as assistant, will face Monti Pallidi and Venezia in their retreat.
The friendly match with Genoa will be the fourth played by Mantova. The first outing of Davide Possanzini’s red and whites is set for Sunday 14 July in Molveno, against an amateur team. Also in Molveno, on Thursday 18th, it will be Castiglione’s turn to compete with Burrai and his teammates. The opponent for Saturday 20th has not yet been announced, but everything suggests that it will be Antonio Conte’s Napoli: the match should take place in Dimaro, home of the Azzurri’s training camp. The last test at altitude for Mantua will be on Saturday 27th in Molveno against Carpi. This match will close the San Lorenzo Dorsino training camp, which will begin on July 12th.
