Fatal accident in Mugello. And once again it is a broken life. The protagonist, this time, was the Passo del Giogo road frequented by many motorcyclists. And a motorcyclist, yesterday around 1.40pm, was the victim of a fatal accident on this road, on the provincial road 503, in the Paliana area.
The tragedy occurred in a few moments, as always happens in these cases. For reasons yet to be ascertained, the 61-year-old man, resident in the Bolognese area, lost control of his powerful motorbike and went off the road, ending up against some trees. The impact was terrible, the 118 vehicles and workers, the carabinieri and the municipal police arrived on site in a short time. The medics immediately began resuscitation operations, carrying out all the attempts required by the protocols for situations of this type.
Unfortunately, however, around 3pm, they had to surrender to the evidence, the poor motorcyclist was declared dead, and the competent authorities ordered the return of the body to his family. Now it will be up to the police to reconstruct exactly what happened, even if it appears that no other vehicles were involved.
There are countless road tragedies involving motorcyclists on the Mugello passes, a route also very popular with two-wheel lovers who live in the Bolognese area.
