CREMONA AND CREMONA VOLUNTEER FESTIVAL YEAR 2024
The first meeting aimed at third sector bodies in the area in preparation for the 30th Cremonese Volunteer Festival on Sunday 22 September 2024 is scheduled for Thursday 27 June at 6.00 pm at the Monteverdi Theater in Via Dante, 149 in Cremona.
CSV Lombardia Sud ETS and the Provincial Third Sector Forum have shared a path of reflection and co-planning of the general structure of the 2024 Volunteer Festival which will therefore make use of an operational dimension built in close synergy between the two bodies and with the patronage of the Municipality of Cremona.
In the same way, the Volunteer Festival will be characterized not simply as an event but rather as a path of collaboration between Third Sector entities with each other and with local institutions; a path that, including laboratory methods, promotes learning, new awareness and better ability to respond to needs.
Three thematic areas will be the subject of in-depth analysis, research and training:
THE NEW HORIZONS OF THE CONCEPT OF HEALTH;
A COMMUNITY THAT CREATES JUSTICE AND A JUSTICE THAT CREATES COMMUNITY;
THE PARTICIPATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN COMMUNITY LIFE.
The objective of the Volunteer Festival project in Cremona and the Cremona area is to make volunteers increasingly ready to face the social challenges that affect our communities and at the same time develop the awareness that volunteering is action for the general interest which translates into giving substance to rights for all.
So the appointment is June 27th to share input for reflection, ways of participating in the project and to receive information on organization and registration.
