“I assure you that I always care about your situation: we also have more similar meetings, I’m happy about it. I am carrying out the reform to have concrete results for those in your situations: everyone must be happy, no foreclosures. And I assure you that we will also talk about it at the G7 summit dedicated to disability which will take place in Umbria in the coming months: the first time in Italy to discuss these issues. We must overcome every barrier, cultural yes, but also architectural”. A passionate speech by the Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli today in the Municipality of Como at the summit of the Fand of Como (national association federation of people with disabilities): all the representatives of the associations that brought their contribution were present. Blind and deaf, mutilated and civilian and service disabled. Each for their sector to ask the Como Minister – who has ensured total commitment – to solve small and large problems of daily life.
The meeting was wanted and organized by the councilor for social services and vice-mayor Nicoletta Roperto who meets with them every month: today she wanted them around the table with the Minister to be able to speak directly. Initial greetings also from the mayor Rapinese as well as from the councilor Roperto. Then the Minister and the various Fand entities. Interventions were also made by those who coordinate the works in the city (manager Luca Noseda) and by the administrator of Asf Autolinee Massimo Bertazzoli (because steps forward must be made here too and the company knows this well as Bertazzzoli explained).
