This evening an armed assault occurred at the Mondialpol headquarters in Sassari, located in Caniga.
A group of bandits, organized and equipped with military-style gear, launched an attack by firing gunshots.
To hinder the intervention of the police, the criminals scattered nails along the surrounding streets, set fire to cars and shot at anyone who approached with a security perimeter in complete military style.
The following amateur footage, recorded by some citizens present on the scene, shows the violence of the attack.
The bandits used a bulldozer to break through the wall of the building and, as can be seen in the available videos, they managed to penetrate inside and steal the stolen goods.
They then fled with the stolen money. The amount of the loot is not yet known, nor are there any injuries.
