Tutino, Cosenza can raise cash: 5 million for the striker

Gennaro Tutino’s future at Cosenza is uncertain despite the recent buyout of the player by president Eugenio Guarascio for a sum of 2.4 million euros. The new rossoblù coach, Massimiliano Alvini, was informed from the beginning of the negotiations that led him to sit on the Wolves bench: there is no certainty that he will be able to count on Tutino for next season.

Interest from Italian and international clubs

According to what was reported by Alfredo Pedullà’s portal, Tutino attracted the attention of several teams thanks to his excellent performance in the last Serie B championship, where he scored twenty goals and one in the Italian Cup. Among the clubs interested are Sampdoria, Salernitana, Venezia and, recently, also Schalke 04.

Cosenza’s economic request

Guarascio has set the minimum price for a possible sale of Tutino at 5 million euros. This despite the economic effort made by Cosenza to buy him out of Parma. The rossoblù owner is aware of the value of his striker and has no intention of selling him off. The auction now launched could bring fresh money into the coffers of Via degli Stadi to be reinvested in the transfer market.

Alvini’s position

Massimiliano Alvini remains at the window, aware that in the event of Tutino’s departure, he will be adequately replaced. The coach is working to build a competitive team and the possible departure of the attacker represents a significant challenge. However, Alvini is ready to adapt and find solutions to keep the team’s level high.

The next few weeks will be crucial in determining the future of Gennaro Tutino. Cosenza, under the guidance of Alvini, will have to decide whether to retain their striker or accept one of the offers that arrive. One thing is certain: if Tutino leaves, the club will make sure to find a suitable replacement to face the new season.
