06.22.2024 – 09.00 – In Dubai he found work, continuity in training and matches, now he wants to (re)gain confidence with other contexts and with his city. Riccardo Rizzi, professional superwelterweight boxeris on stage on Sunday evening June 23 to Triestein the ring set up at Domio (sports facility area) scene of a meeting promoted by the Audace Fight& Fitness company. Rizzi is aiming for an assault on the Italian super welterweight title within a few years (6 wins out of 6 fights as a Pro, of which 2 before the limit) and now he will have to continue to sharpen his weapons and deal with Octavian Gratii, a professional of the ring of origin Moldovan but resident in Romania, with around seventy meetings behind him.
It must be said that Rizzi’s opponent for his return to Italy had to be Fabio Cascone, replaced only a few days ago by Free: “They changed my opponent with just 10 days’ notice – specifies Riccardo Rizzi, who landed a few hours ago in Trieste – but it doesn’t matter, I prepared hard at the Vic Sport Complex in Dubai and I expect a particularly tough match. I wanted to return to Italy and Trieste – added the boxer from Trieste – and this opportunity came from the Audace club and the Crese Cup, I now want to play my cards as best as I can”.
The meeting in Domio will open its doors around 6pm and offers a substantial appetizer in an amateur key with meetings on an interregional scale and with comparisons between representatives of Croatia and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
