Two feminicides in the night. In Cagliari and Arezzo the same script: husbands kill their wives

BOLOGNA – The ending is the same, two women were killed by their life partners, in their homes. It happened during the night, between Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June: just before midnight Cagliarishortly after ad Arezzo.

The feminicide during the night in Cagliari, in the Is Mirrionis district. A 77-year-old man stabbed his 59-year-old wife to death after an argument, which degenerated into a tragedy. The couple’s daughters raised the alarmbut the 118 operators who rushed to the scene were unable to do anything to save the woman’s life.
The man, who did not leave the house after hitting his wife, was stopped by the Flying Squad officers: “He laughed in my face and I never saw him again”, were his only words, reported by the Sardinian Union.

To Arezzo the tragedy struck an elderly couple in the Giotto area of ​​the city. The wife, 72 years oldwas killed by her husband 80 years old,they lived alone, they had no children. He shot her with a gun – which he regularly held – and immediately called the police. To the officers, as soon as they arrived on site, he confessed to her murder in a state of shock, simply explaining that he “couldn’t take it anymore”. The victim had been suffering from Alzheimer’s for some time and her husband looked after her alone.
