It will be a lively and dynamic place, open not only to students but to all citizens: the new life of Palazzo Minoletti, a building that has been disused for over twenty years in the center of Gallarate (former home of the Fascist movement), passes through higher education thanks to the redevelopment project involving the Municipality of Gallarate, the Lombardy Region and the ITS INCOM Foundation.

Inside Palazzo Minoletti, in addition to the spaces for carrying out training activities, cutting-edge experimental laboratories and other services will be set up. The redevelopment project involves an investment of 14.9 million euros, supported in part by the Foundation for the preparation of all the spaces and the implementation of training and in part with the support of the Lombardy Region (for approximately 2 million euros) and Municipality of Gallarate (around 4 million).

AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

ITS INCOM specializes in post-diploma technical training and in the preparation of some of the most sought after professional figures in the economic and local world. The foundation boasts an innovative training model, based on doing and experience “in the field” and an employability rate that exceeds 90%. ITS INCOM is also and above all the place where students interested in new technologies and innovation can transform their passion into a growth and career opportunity. For this reason the intervention represents not only an opportunity to return a disused building to the city but to encourage educational and cultural contamination and to open the doors of a strategic place that can be a stimulus for the entire territory.

Fontana: a strategic investment for the future

«This project was born from the awareness of the need to offer our young people tools and skills that respond to the demands of a constantly evolving job market – commented the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana -. Lombardy, as the epicenter of Italian industry and innovation, must be able to guarantee excellent training opportunities that adequately prepare future professionals. Our students will thus be able to benefit from practical and immediately applicable training, becoming qualified professionals ready to face the challenges of a global market. I am convinced that this training center will represent a strategic investment for the future of our region, contributing not only to the professional growth of individuals, but also to the strengthening of the entire economic fabric of Lombardy.
