Abruzzo Film Commission, the funds arrive

The Abruzzo Film Commission has the resources. Or rather, it will have them shortly: the allocation is foreseen in an article of law, which will go to the Commission on Tuesday 25 June and, declared the group leader of Fratelli d’Italia Massimo Verrecchia, in the Chamber for final approval the following day.

One million six hundred thousand euros in three years. For 2024 there are 400 thousand euros, 600 thousand euros for each of the following two years. Here is the article, contained in a very complex law which intervenes in disparate subjects, including urban planning, culture, education: “In order to allow the contribution by the Abruzzo Region as sole founding member to the Foundation Abruzzo Film Commission, the Endowment Fund of the Foundation is established with an expenditure allocation of 50,000.00 euros for the financial year 2024. In order to guarantee the efficient and effective carrying out of the activities envisaged by this article, the Endowment Fund is integrated management of the Foundation with the contribution of 350,000.00 euros for the 2024 financial year and 600,000.00 euros starting from the 2025 financial year, for each subsequent year”, specifying later that it reaches 2026, given that the Budget extends up to this year, while afterwards “provision is made with the respective budget laws”.
