Tomorrow (Saturday 22 June), at 8.30 pm, the third edition of the international dance prize “Virginia Musto” organized by the “Virginia Vita” association will be held at the bishop’s seminary in Piazza Normanna in Aversa. The event, which combines dance, music and art, was born from the desire of the parents of Virginia, the young psychology student and dancer who died prematurely in 2017, to keep their daughter’s passion alive and give support to young people who want to embark on a path in the art world. The event aims to offer young people studying dance the necessary help to allow them to realize their dreams, both educational and professional. The proceeds from the tickets, costing 10 euros each, will be entirely donated to the Diocesan Caritas. The artistic direction of the event is handled by the “Centro Danza Diana”, with the presentation entrusted to Mariù Adamo. The jury will be chaired by Giuseppe Picone and composed of prominent members of the dance world such as: Luca Pannella, Duilio Ingraffia, Amalia Salzano and Francesco Borrelli. The evening will be enriched by illustrious people, among which the name of the actress and soprano Katia Ricciarelli, a leading figure of Italian opera, stands out. Following will be: Francesco Zingariello, Alice Fenu, Nicola Barbarossa, the Danzando nel Tempo Cultural Group and Adriana Fanelli. With the participation of Katia Ricciarelli and other illustrious guests, the “Virginia Musto” award will not only celebrate talent and dedication in the field of art, but will be proposed as a charity event to transform the memory of a young artist into hope and opportunities for many others.
