Naples

A meeting was held in Rome, at the Ministry of Culture, between the Minister, Gennaro Sangiulianothe national president of the ANCE, Federica Brancacciothe president of Ance Campania, Luigi Della Gattathe president of Confindustria Campania and president of Unione Industriali Napoli, Costanzo Jannotti Pecci and member of the Culture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Gimmi Cangiano.

At the center of the meeting are the themes of urban regeneration and landscape protection in light of the new national and regional regulatory frameworks that will impact the future challenges of the future of cities and territories. The Minister highlighted the need to restore centrality to the theme of urban regeneration in a balanced relationship with regional regulations and ensured, in a short time, the launch of a technical table to address all the critical issues related to the recovery of existing buildings , land consumption and energy efficiency.

Thus President of Ance Campania Luigi Della Gatta: “We strongly appreciate the innovative approach expressed by Minister Sangiuliano in this morning’s meeting. Finally for the country an opportunity to combine the themes of regeneration with those of the valorisation and protection of landscapes and buildings. Equally important is the openness to accelerating the plan regional landscape.

On this issue we ask for a spirit of responsibility and concreteness on the part of all those involved so that, after decades, we can reach the approval of a historical planning document for Campania.”

For the President Costanzo Jannotti Pecci: “It is essential to accelerate urban regeneration processes through inter-institutional collaboration and with the social partners, which simplifies procedural processes and identifies paths traced on the concrete needs of the territory. A path outlined in this way would then give concrete meaning to the concept of “partnership” which is often expressed in a merely formal manner”.
