“Fragile Show” returns to the stage. A work that was many things returns to the scene: a discussion on art, on what it means to be an artist and, as always, and at the same time, what it means to be men/human beings today, like yesterday, like tomorrow.
“Fragile Show” is a wrong cabaret, the performance of a sad clown, the contemptuous scream of an imitator of voices against society and supermarket art, for the use and consumption of convenience.
Freely inspired by Thomas Bernhard’s “The Succumbing Man”, “Fragile Show” puts us face to face with our fragility. Glenn Gould and Werthaimer, like Mozart and Salieri, are pairs that each of us could write endlessly. They are not just illustrious names, they are also hundreds of common names of people who belong to our past, present and future. These are the thousand ways in which we seek, with desperate obstinacy, a balance in the very difficult battle of existence on earth.
Carmelo Bene, provoking to the limit of endurance, told us: genius does what it can, talent does what it wants. And who is left out? What does those left out do?
Biancofango is a theater company on the contemporary Italian scene directed by Francesca Macrì and Andrea Trapani. Founded in 2005, over the years, it has crossed the most important Italian theaters and festivals, characterizing itself for specific attention to the contemporary, to the contamination between the arts, to dramaturgical writing and rewriting and for the search for a new relationship between body and word , between dance and prose. Numerous shows have been created, among these: The trilogy of ineptitude (In tiptoe, La shoulder, Fragile show) which has been on the road in Italy and abroad for almost a decade, Porco mondo and I have no hands that caress my face. The APPRODI festival is a cultural event organized by the Vitamina T association with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Regional Department of Culture and Sport), the Casali Foundation and Io sono Friuli Venezia Giulia; takes place in co-organization with the Municipality of Trieste and in collaboration and partnership with Fineco Bank, Trieste Estate, La Cappella Underground, Rittmeyer Regional Institute for the Blind, Associazione Casa del Cinema di Trieste, San Martino al Campo, Controtempo and Teatrali Services .
