Turin Caselle airport is transformed into a film set for a few days, with cameras, clapperboards, spotlights and the inevitable director’s chairs. Actors and cameramen are busy filming a mysterious TV series, leaving passengers and onlookers to speculate about the plot and cast.
Confirmation of the presence of the set comes from Sagat, the company that manages the Turin airport, but nothing is revealed regarding the title of the drama or the television channel on which it will be broadcast. This aura of mystery fuels the curiosity of passengers, many of whom hope to meet some celebrities during their stay at the airport.
One name, however, emerged among the rumors: Max Tortora. The actor, known for his appearances on TV and in the cinema, was apparently spotted in Caselle. Tortora is already known to the public for his role in the 2007 sitcom “Piloti”, where he played a pilot of a low-cost airline called “Piccione AirLines”. The transition from airplanes to airports seems to be a natural continuation of his artistic path.
It is not the first time that Caselle airport has been chosen as a filming location. The set has already been used in the past for TV series such as “Rocco Schiavone”, films and commercials, confirming its versatility and its charm for the world of entertainment.

For now, passengers will have to content themselves with looking behind the scenes and hoping for a chance encounter with the stars of the small screen. Who knows, perhaps between a departure and an arrival, someone will be lucky enough to peek at a moment of the new television production which promises to be enthralling.
