Twice they attempted a theft in the pavilions of the ASP in Palermo between via Pindemonti and via La Loggia. In the first case, the Mondialpol security guards put away the thieves who had already managed to enter a pavilion. During an inspection, the security guards noticed the break-in in one of the pavilions and managed to scare the thieves away. The second intrusion took place in pavilion 17 in via Pindemonte. Here they managed to enter and ransacked the rooms. It is not yet clear whether anything was taken away. Managers and employees are checking. The investigations into the two incidents are being conducted by the police and the Carabinieri. Images will be acquired.
The previous attempted theft
They knocked off the door of the ASP prosthesis office in via del Vespro in Palermo. Another medical device targeted by thieves. This time the coup was unsuccessful. Thieves at the Civic
A few days earlier, thieves entered the changing rooms of the surgery department of the Civic hospital in the Sicilian capital. The health workers found the cabinets broken into. Some wallets were stolen. Investigations are underway to trace the perpetrators of the new vandalism raid against a hospital department. The list of thefts in Palermo hospitals is growing. Shortly before, a vandalism raid in the Radiology department of the Villa Sofia hospital in Palermo. A man entered the department and turned everything upside down, damaging the monitors of the new CT scan purchased thanks to Pnrr funds which was supposed to come into operation in recent days and which due to the devastation in the department cannot be used. In all rooms there is damage. Monitors on the floor, refrigerators with open medicines, equipment damaged and left on the floor.
