Palestine flag on the Cathedral of Pavia
Last night, one flag of Palestine, was seen waving on the majestic dome of the Cathedral of Pavia, one of the highest in Italy. What was noticed this morning, Friday 21 June 2024, around 7.30, was a lady passing by who, cycling through Piazza Vittoria, he noticed the international symbol on the facade of the sanctuary.
Removed
The local authorities were therefore immediately mobilized, with the parish priest of the cathedral, Don Gian Pietro Maggiinformed of what happened. The police intervened promptly on the spot Digos, for the investigation of the case, while a team of specialized workers was called in to proceed to remove the flagwhich represented an act of apparent protest or provocation.

This episode follows the posting of one by just over a week (it was last June 5th). similar flag on the main facade of the Milan Cathedral, an event that had sparked widespread public discussion and required similar interventions from the competent authorities.
