BRINDISI – Marilù De Carlo, of the Ipsss “Morvillo Falcone”, and Francesco Pietro Ciracì, of the Itt “G. Giorgi” have won a scholarship each worth 400 euros. Also awarded were the students Maira De Vito of Ipsss “Morvillo Falcone”, Niccolò Caliandro, Francesco Camarda, Emanuele Cassiano, Mattia De Fillipis of Itt “G. Giorgi” with scholarships worth 200 euros.
“Young people need to be given the floor and this award gives the floor and puts young people at the center and this is its strength. Great emphasis should be given to the prefecture and all the institutions present in the room who are committed on this day and in the previous days by viewing the works presented by the children. Maybe we are distant on a generational level, but never so distant in addressing the issue of legality and responsibility, the common thread of this edition” said the testimonial of the fourth edition, Rajae Bezzaz, a well-known face of Striscia La Notizia, and who received the recognition of courageous correspondent.
The Honestas Award, organized by the association “The blue suitcase”, chaired by the journalist and writer Fabiana Agnello, with the collaboration of the Italian Union of Carabinieri Workers Siul Cc, for the Journalism category awarded the Award to the editor-in-chief of Rai Radio1 Giuseppe Malara for the successes and goals achieved in your professional career.
The awards ceremony, which took place in the Provincial Palace in Brindisi, was attended by the highest authorities of the territory and citizens, the “Honestas” commission made up of the Prefect of Brindisi, Luigi Carnevale, the Chief Prosecutor Antonio De Donno, the mayor of Brindisi Giuseppe Marchionna, the mayor of San Vito dei Normanni, Silvana Errico, the delegate of the FAI Puglia Antiracket Federation Fabio Marini, the individual donors and sponsors – Pettolecchia Collection, Snim Salone Nautico di Puglia, Confindustria Brindisi, BCC of Ostuni, Palazzo Virgilio and Cantine Risveglio.
The evening was embellished by the students Rossella and Denise of the Ipsss “Morvillo Falcone” who wore the dress dedicated to the city of Brindisi and a red gala dress, both made by the girls.
