Saturday 29 Junein fact, starting from 9.00pmat the foot of the Virgil staircasewill be held on concert by Mogol and Gianmarco Carroccia. The show “Emotions” was born to enhance and disseminate the work of two of the greatest artists that the Italian music scene has ever had: Mogol and Lucio Battisti. The event includes the strictly live performance of those songs that best describe the very successful Mogol-Battisti partnership, narrating a sort of real musical biography and highlighting all the nuances that hide behind every single song. The entire repertoire will be interpreted by Gianmarco Carroccia, accompanied by a group of six musicians, who will perform each piece, sticking as closely as possible to the album, without distorting its true nature, but resulting in the so-called “perfect interpretation”. To preciously enrich the show, will be the presence of the greatest lyricist of Italian music, Mogol, who during the evening will tell the various anecdotes and important meanings linked to each song that will be performed throughout the show.
On the occasion of the concert, for the first time in an Italian port, the athletes of the Vertical Gym of Brindisi will propose an aerial dance performance that will leave the audience breathless. Aerealists will hover suspended between fabrics attached to a 27 meter high crane. First exit at sunset, second during the concert. The port, a stadium of the sea in which the racing cars of the world championship will compete, will be transformed, for two evenings, on the 29th with a repeat on the 30th of June, into an extraordinary theatre, where circus art, dance and magic will merge to pay homage to the city, the protagonists of the Adriatic Cup and the tourists of a unique show never before seen in an Italian port.
