Closing in style for the 60th edition of the Pesaro International Film Festival thanks to a special prize, the presence of Luca Guadagnino, many internationally renowned guests and the eagerly awaited moment of the awards ceremony.

The morning of Saturday 22 June opens in the usual spaces of Gradari Palace from 10.00 am, with two very great guests of the Exhibition, Brigid McCaffreydirector and photographer from Los Angeles to whom the festival dedicated a particular focus and, to follow, Júlio Bressanedirector among the major exponents of contemporary Brazilian cinema, on the international jury and at the Mostra with three films, returning to the Festival after 56 years.

At the Experimental Theatre, from 3.30pm it will be possible to immerse yourself in McCaffrey’s cinema with screenings of Am/Pm, Sun Metal Shadow Signs, Paradaise Spring, Castaic Lake and Bad Mama, who cares. To follow, still in the Pasolini room, the last appointment with the tribute to Adriano Aprà with the projection of Olimpia to friends. The Sala Grande instead, starting from 3.00 pm, will be the scene of the screening of A flame in my heart by Alain Tanner with the French actress and member of the international jury Myriam Mézières and, at 5.30pm, the highly anticipated meeting moderated by director Pedro Armocida with Luca Guadagnino, in which the monograph will be presented, the first in the world dedicated to him, published in the series New cinema by Marsilio, edited by Simone Emiliani and Cecilia Ermini, Specters of desire. It will then be screened for the section Italian short debuts the short directed by Valerio Pisano and Luca Grimaldi, Sunshadows, in the presence of the directors.
