Poste Italiane – Employees of the province of Alessandria also take part in the “Safe Driving” initiative in collaboration with the State Police

Safe drivingthe project aimed at Poste Italiane staff as part of a memorandum of understanding signed with the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of the Interior also saw the participation of employees from the province of Alessandria.

Developing the culture of preventing road accidents, giving priority to people’s safety, respecting the rules for safe and responsible driving are the aims of the initiative aimed at all employees who use a vehicle during working hours to carry out work. own business, in particular postmen, sellers and drivers of heavy vehicles.

The various forms of training collaboration between the Italian Post Office and the State Police also include today’s meeting during which the Traffic Police officials illustrated the risk situations and the ways to deal with them, the most common and dangerous distractions, the individual protection and speed limits.

The initiative is part of a program of appointments which, from 2023 to today, has already involved 144 employees in Piedmont, 19 of whom are from Alessandria.

The Company pays constant attention to road safety issues which every day involves the staff employed in the parcel and correspondence distribution service via motorcycles, tricycles, quadricycles, cars and vans. In the province of Alessandria there are around 260 delivery workers.

In the next months Safe driving will involve Poste Italiane employees from other Italian regions for a total of 33 events.
