All that was missing from the appeal was the appointment of the Fontanelice council. No sooner said than done. Mayor Gabriele Meluzzi, who kept for himself the mandates for Territorial Planning, Urban Planning and Construction, Public Works, Budget and Taxes, Personnel Organization, Education, Promotion and Enhancement of the Mengoni Archive, Relations with Local Authorities, Civil Protection and Post-flood reconstruction, the official act was signed yesterday afternoon. Inside two new faces. No surprises for the role of deputy mayor assigned to the agricultural entrepreneur Stefano Colli. The 36-year-old was the protagonist more than a year ago of the creation of that video appeal, which later went viral, to ask for the reopening of the Sp33 ‘Casolana’ decimated by landslides caused by the flood. A candidacy that yesterday found the trappings of officiality complete with delegations to Agriculture, Productive Activities, Tourism and Promotion of the territory, Sport and free time, Relations with associations and Policies for the hamlets. Position as councilor, and women’s quotas respected, for 64-year-old Rita Falossi. Originally from Medicine, the woman has lived in Fontanelice for some time and works as an educator at the residential therapeutic community ‘Il Sorriso’. For her, the delegations to Organization of municipal services, Health and social services, Equal opportunities and integration policies, Public housing, Culture and library services, Youth policies and Security. There are two delegated councilors: Beatrice Mari, acting as support on the subject of urban regeneration, and Massimo Salvini working between urban decor, environment and waste. Position as majority group leader for the most voted Luciana Righini. “We took into account the aptitudes, skills, experiences and availability of the nominees – explains the mayor of Fontanelice, Gabriele Meluzzi –.
