“This is a necessary update, in light of the developments and implementation times, with which the provincial funding already foreseen is confirmed while at the same time responding to the needs of the Municipality regarding the implementation phase of the interventions” explains vice-president Gerosa, who underlines how the Council has foreseen new resources to be allocated to the Briamasco stadium.
“The objective of the agreement – continues the vice-president – is to encourage collaboration between the institutions (the one with the sports councilor of the Municipality of Trento was excellent) to make the most of the sports facilities and related services which have civic value and provincial. By strengthening the accessibility and functionality of the facilities, also for training and youth activities, we promote that winning relationship between sport, community and territory which is an added value of Trentino, relationships in which we strongly believe”.
Specifically, as the vice president specifies, in the new agreement the parties recognize the value of interventions on sports facilities. For football, for example, the opportunity is defined to immediately rationalize the planned adjustments, concentrating them in a single structure, also considering the future destination of the areas in which the playing fields called “Trentinello” are located (between via Ghiaie and via Jedin), prospectively included in the surface of the new hospital and university center of Trentino.
